What's the difference between Scout, Ranger, and Expedition?

Every plan includes the exact same features: unlimited registrations, unlimited admin users, AI Placement, Pulse IQ reporting, and more. The only difference is cost. Higher tiers add a monthly fee but lower your per-registration and platform fees, so they cost less once your volume grows. The calculator above shows which tier is cheapest for you.

A lower per-registration rate than our list price, locked in for as long as you're with us, plus a direct line to the founders and a say in what we build next. We're onboarding a limited number of programs personally this season. Get in touch to apply.

Is there a plan with no monthly fee?

Accepted Answer

Scout has no monthly subscription fee, which is not the same as free. You still pay $2.00 USD per registration and a 1.5% platform fee when families register and pay, plus Stripe's processing fee, which goes to Stripe rather than to CampPulse 360. Stripe processing fees apply separately and vary by country, payment method and card type. Standard domestic online-card pricing is generally 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. Refer to Stripe's current pricing or your connected Stripe account.

Are there any hidden fees or feature limitations?

No. Every feature is available on every plan. We don't believe in feature gating. There are no required setup fees, no onboarding fees, and no hidden charges. You pay your monthly subscription (if applicable), the per-registration fee, and payment processing. The only optional extra is AI Builder, which has a one-time fee.

Is there an implementation project or onboarding fee?

No. There's no required setup fee and no implementation project. You configure your own programs, and a live launch checklist tells you exactly what's left before you can accept registrations.

How does payment processing work?

Accepted Answer

There are two components to processing. A CampPulse platform fee (1.5%, 1.25%, or 1% depending on your tier, and the same in both markets) and Stripe's own processing fee. Stripe processing fees apply separately and vary by country, payment method and card type. Standard domestic online-card pricing is generally 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. Refer to Stripe's current pricing or your connected Stripe account. Stripe handles all payment transactions securely. We never store card data.

Do you support ACH payments for U.S. customers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Families in the U.S. can pay directly from their bank account via ACH Direct Debit, which is cheaper than credit card processing. Stripe charges 0.8% per ACH transaction, capped at USD $5.00, plus the standard platform fee for your tier. These ACH figures are U.S.-specific and quoted in USD. For higher-value registrations, ACH can save both you and your families a meaningful amount on processing costs.

How do I know which plan is right for my organization?

It depends on your registration volume. Scout works well for smaller programs since there's no monthly cost. As your registrations grow, the lower per-registration and platform fees on Ranger or Expedition can save you more than the monthly subscription costs. Can I switch plans at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade whenever you need. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, and there are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees.

Yes. AI Builder is an optional, one-time setup tool that turns your existing website, brochure, or documents into a ready-to-review camp setup. It has a one-time fee, shown before you're billed, and it never becomes a recurring charge. You can also set everything up yourself at no cost. AI Placement and Pulse IQ are included on every plan.
